STS Strengthens its Grand Rapids Presence

		It is with great excitement that STS announces their recent acquisition of Hopper/Sheeran/Frank, Inc. Hopper/Sheeran/Frank is a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based engineering firm whose specializations include construction-materials testing and geotechnical engineering work. The firm has a rich geotechnical engineering history in the city with a long resume of successful projects completed including projects for Steelcase, Inc. and the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. As a result of the recent acquisition, Donald N. Hopper, P.E., President and CEO of Hopper/Sheeran/Frank has joined the STS geotechnical engineering team. Don comes to STS with over 40 years of geotechnical engineering experience and has been involved with such projects as the Grand Rapids Community College parking ramp, Kent County International Airport expansion and the Kent County Jail. Don's new responsibilities with STS lay in geotechnical engineering consultation. The recent acquisition helped increase STS's local presence, giving the Grand Rapids area an office of 35 engineers, technicians and support personnel.
